The European Association of Electromobility (AVERE) is a member-based organization founded in 1978 and is the only European association that represents and advocates for electromobility. It is a unique organization in Europe as it covers all the aspects of electromobility and works with the industry to promote zero-emission mobility. AVERE is working towards drastically reducing greenhouse gas emissions causing climate changes using technology to decarbonize the European transport sector.

The organization and its members highly focus on end-users, that is, car owners and drivers on the streets, to encourage them to switch to electric vehicles. AVERE also works with academics who conduct studies and analytics to determine the best technology to achieve their primary goal of establishing 100% zero-emission in Europe by 2050 by fully decarbonizing European road transport.

AVERE currently has 37 members. It is an umbrella organization with other member associations representing different states in Europe, such as Spain, France, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Optimizing Our Operations With Glue Up’s All-In-One Platform

We discovered Glue Up after searching on Google. We were looking for a CRM system to help better organize our association and that would specifically cater to the needs of a non-profit organization that deals with members and not clients. We found what we were looking for in Glue Up. Before Glue Up, we used Word and Excel documents which were not very efficient. Glue Up provided us with a unified platform that offered an invoicing system, allowed us to send out newsletters to our members, and manage events with ease. The all-in-one platform has helped us shift from using manual processes and multiple documents to using our time more wisely and has also reduced the risk of making mistakes. All the modules are well integrated, it is easy to use, and has greatly optimized how we use our time.

We chose Glue Up because the videos on its YouTube channel were convincing. Additionally, the price of the system was attractive, and the risk of switching to Glue Up was very low. Glue Up is a modern comprehensive CRM system, and I knew right away that it would help us organize our association. The decision to switch to Glue Up was easy as I did not even need to consult the board. We are still taking time to explore all the functions that Glue Up has to offer.

Improving Our Webinar Experience With Glue Up

Glue Up’s event management module helped us significantly improve our event processes when we switched to online activities. Initially, we experienced challenges as a result of using multiple tools that did not integrate well. Running our events on Glue Up streamlined our webinar experience as we could manage the entire event lifecycle on the platform. Managing events became much easier for us and our attendees as well. We can run campaigns for our events, and the Zoom integration feature allows us to send links to the events directly to our members. We also appreciate that Glue Up provides data on event attendance and other statistics. We can track how our members engage with our events and even analyze attendees who join externally.

Building Our Community With Glue Up

Consolidating all the tools we need to manage our association on a unified platform has been our greatest achievement. We have also grown our community and engaged them better with online events and campaigns. The email campaigns and event management modules have been the core features for our association. We hope to use the communities module more–to build and engage our member community.
