Glue Up’s philosophy has always been one of diversity and equality within the workplace. Therefore, we are delighted to announce that the Alibaba Group awarded Founder and COO Olivia Jingshu Ji as a ‘Top 10 Female Entrepreneur’ at the prestigious Global Conference on Women and Entrepreneurship. The award was for women that had, among other achievements, created “business miracles” whilst “balancing commercial and social value”.
Many successful and distinguished attendees were present at the event, including Jim Yong Kim, President of the World Bank Group; Lakshmi Puri, Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations; fashion designer Vera Wang and Chinese actress Sun Li.

The CEO of Glue Up, Eric L. Schmidt, believes that we must “fuel growth with diversity”, a mantra both he and Ms. Ji have stuck to by recruiting a diverse Glue Up team, in all variations of the word.
Ms. Ji’s recent award is a testament to the company she has built, and it’s an honour to have her many achievements rewarded by the Alibaba Group at such a significant event.
